Vertex Industries — Annual Report · 2025 03 / 15
Markets & Segments
Two engines, four industries
Vertex Industries operates through two segments that reinforce each other. Automation — 66% of revenue — engineers the robots, control systems and warehouse lines that move physical goods; with Kestrel Robotics it has become the reference supplier for automated intralogistics. Software & Services — 34% of revenue — runs the digital layer above the machines: Vertex Neura, the cloud platform that delivered 99.98% uptime in 2025, and a services organisation certified to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II. CHF 435 million of the segment’s revenue now recurs annually, up 31%.
Four customer industries account for the bulk of demand. Logistics and warehousing is the group’s largest and fastest-moving market. Food and beverage buys hygiene-rated robotics and traceability; pharmaceutical customers purchase validation and documentation as much as machinery; automotive — the group’s oldest market — is retooling for electric drivetrains, and automating as it does.

“A third of our revenue now renews itself. That predictability is worth more than any single order — it is what lets us spend CHF 192 million on research and still close the year with CHF 210 million of net cash.”
